Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our talented nursing team at Avir at Mineola. As a Registered Nurse (RN) with our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, including but not limited to medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and wound care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Conduct patient assessments, identify and report changes in patient status, and educate patients and their families on disease processes and treatment options.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and other activities to promote excellence in patient care.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
