Build Your Physical Therapy Career With One-on-One Care, Sports Rehab, and Real Clinical Growth

You became a Physical Therapist to help people move better, rebuild strength, and return to the sports, training, and activities that matter to them.

At Athlete Pro Sports Medicine, you will provide true one-on-one Physical Therapy to athletes and active adults in a sports medicine environment built around orthopedic rehabilitation, movement, strength, performance, and long-term outcomes.

You will have the time to evaluate thoroughly, use your clinical judgment, and progress patients through every stage of rehabilitation, from pain and mobility limitations to strength, running, training, and return to sport.

Whether you are a new graduate Physical Therapist looking for mentorship or an experienced clinician who wants more autonomy and a sports-focused caseload, this role gives you the environment and support to keep becoming a stronger PT.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $90,000 to $95,000 annual salary.
  • True one-on-one Physical Therapy care.
  • Flexible Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Schedule options of 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • No on-call responsibilities.
  • Paid time off.
  • Health share program.
  • Wellness resources.
  • Structured mentorship and clinical development.
  • Hands-on support from experienced Physical Therapists.
  • Sports medicine and orthopedic patient population.
  • Access to advanced treatment technology.
  • Collaborative clinical team.
  • Continued professional development opportunities.
  • Long-term growth within a performance-focused environment.

Why Physical Therapists Choose Athlete Pro Sports Medicine

This is a Physical Therapy position for clinicians who want the time and autonomy to provide thoughtful care instead of rushing patients through a high-volume schedule.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide one-on-one Physical Therapy without splitting your attention between multiple patients.
  • Work with athletes and active adults who want to return to running, lifting, training, work, sports, and active lifestyles.
  • Use your clinical reasoning and judgment to guide treatment decisions.
  • Complete thorough evaluations and create individualized plans of care.
  • Follow patients throughout the full rehabilitation process.
  • Develop stronger skills in outpatient orthopedic and sports Physical Therapy.
  • Progress patients from pain reduction and mobility restoration into strength, higher-level function, return to running, return to training, and return to sport.
  • Take ownership of your patients' progression and outcomes.
  • Continue developing your skills while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

What You Will Do

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Evaluate and treat athletes and active adults with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and sports-related conditions.
  • Assess movement, mobility, strength, function, and physical performance.
  • Identify impairments and movement limitations affecting recovery and performance.
  • Build individualized treatment plans around clinical findings, patient goals, and functional demands.
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, movement retraining, and patient education.
  • Progress patients through strength development and functional rehabilitation.
  • Develop return-to-running, return-to-training, and return-to-sport programs.
  • Adjust treatment plans based on patient response, objective findings, and progress.
  • Help patients improve strength, mobility, movement quality, confidence, resilience, and performance.
  • Educate patients on recovery, injury prevention, training progression, and long-term physical health.
  • Complete evaluations, progress notes, and treatment documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and the clinical team throughout the rehabilitation process.

Build Stronger Sports and Orthopedic PT Skills

The patients you treat play a major role in the Physical Therapist you become.

Many of the patients at Athlete Pro Sports Medicine are working toward goals beyond simply reducing pain.

They want to run again, lift again, train again, compete again, and return to the activities they care about most.

Your caseload will give you regular opportunities to strengthen your skills in:

  • Outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy.
  • Sports injury rehabilitation.
  • Movement assessment and clinical reasoning.
  • Progressive strengthening.
  • Functional rehabilitation.
  • Return-to-running programming.
  • Return-to-training progression.
  • Return-to-sport rehabilitation.
  • Performance-focused Physical Therapy.
  • Patient education.
  • Long-term injury prevention.

Advanced Treatment Technology

You will also have access to treatment technology that can be incorporated into a patient's Physical Therapy plan when clinically appropriate.

Technology may include:

  • PEMF.
  • Shockwave Therapy.
  • Direct Current Neuromuscular Re-Education.

These tools support the broader rehabilitation process while your clinical reasoning, patient goals, and Physical Therapy plan of care remain at the center of treatment.

Mentorship for New Graduate Physical Therapists

Starting your career should not mean figuring everything out on your own.

New graduate Physical Therapists will receive structured onboarding, mentorship, and hands-on clinical support while building confidence and independence.

Your development may include:

  • Support with Physical Therapy evaluations.
  • Guidance with clinical reasoning and treatment planning.
  • Feedback on exercise selection and progression.
  • Support with movement assessment.
  • Guidance with return-to-running and return-to-sport programming.
  • Exposure to orthopedic and sports medicine cases.
  • Opportunities to learn advanced treatment techniques and technology.
  • Ongoing feedback from experienced clinicians.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions, refine your approach, and progressively build the skills needed to practice independently.

Opportunities for Experienced Physical Therapists

If you already have outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation experience, you will have room to use it.

You will have:

  • Clinical autonomy.
  • True one-on-one patient care.
  • A motivated athlete and active-adult patient population.
  • Opportunities to deepen your orthopedic and sports rehabilitation skills.
  • Access to advanced treatment technology.
  • A collaborative clinical team that values your experience.
  • Continued professional development opportunities.
  • The ability to take ownership of your patients' plans of care, progression, and outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Hold an active Physical Therapist license or are eligible for licensure.
  • Are a new graduate, early-career Physical Therapist, or experienced clinician.
  • Have an interest in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, or performance rehabilitation.
  • Enjoy working with athletes and active adults.
  • Value one-on-one Physical Therapy care.
  • Want to strengthen your skills in movement assessment, exercise progression, and return-to-sport rehabilitation.
  • Use clinical reasoning to guide treatment decisions.
  • Communicate clearly and build strong patient relationships.
  • Take ownership of patient progression and outcomes.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative and accountable clinical environment.
  • Want continued mentorship and professional development.

  • Outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy experience.
  • Sports rehabilitation experience.

Build the Physical Therapy Career You Want

You should not have to choose between developing your clinical skills and having enough time to provide excellent Physical Therapy.

At Athlete Pro Sports Medicine, you will provide one-on-one care, work with motivated athletes and active adults, develop advanced orthopedic and sports rehabilitation skills, and take an active role in each patient's progression.

Whether you are building your foundation as a new graduate or looking for more autonomy as an experienced Physical Therapist, you will have the support and environment to keep growing.
