About this role

Asymbl, Inc. | Austin, TX

Asymbl is the workforce orchestration company bringing together workforce applications to hire human workers, digital labor strategy to onboard digital workers, and platform expertise to bring it all together. We help businesses attract, design, manage, and scale hybrid workforces that drive more meaningful business impact, faster.

Workforce orchestration aligns strategy, process, and technology so the right work is done by the right worker with clarity and accountability.

We believe the future of work isn't human or digital. It's human and digital, orchestrated as one.

Position Overview

We are hiring an Account Manager to own Asymbl's relationship with a Fortune 500 network and communications provider. This is a single-account role. The client is your entire book, and you are accountable for its growth.

Asymbl is delivering AI and engineering work for the client's software and operations teams, and we won that work against firms with far bigger benches. Global systems integrators and hyperscalers sell to the same executives we do.

Your job is to make sure the client keeps choosing Asymbl, then expand the relationship into Salesforce, workforce orchestration, managed services, digital workers, and any other place we can solve a real problem for them.

You carry an annual growth target for the account. You sit in executive and program steering meetings, serve as the escalation point for our delivery leads, and run the business review cadence with client leadership. You report to the Chief Services Officer and work side by side with Services Delivery every week.

Why Join Us

Our client is one of the largest network providers in the U.S., and it is in the middle of a major transformation: retiring decades of systems inherited through mergers while investing in the networks that carry AI workloads. That combination produces a steady supply of hard problems, and hard problems are where Asymbl wins.

You will be Asymbl's first dedicated Account Manager for a strategic enterprise account, so you will help build the playbook for how we run these accounts. We run 200+ digital workers inside our own company, which means you will sell a hybrid human and digital workforce that you use every day. You also get real coaching, continuous professional development, and a front-row seat to how a startup scales.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full commercial relationship with the client after the initial sale and grow total account revenue against an annual target.
  • Build and maintain a multi-year account plan covering the org map, buying centers, budget cycles, active programs, competitor footprint, and a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Extend our relationships beyond current sponsors into engineering, IT, network operations, field operations, enterprise sales, procurement, and the executive team.
  • Know where global systems integrators and other incumbents are working inside the account, and position Asymbl to win displacements and adjacent scope.
  • Expand the account into Salesforce, workforce orchestration, managed services, digital workers, and new AI programs, building on the delivery work already in place.
  • Attend program steering meetings and act as the escalation point for delivery leads when a project needs help.
  • Shape statements of work with Services Delivery, and move deals through the client's procurement, security review, vendor risk, and AI governance processes so they don't stall after a verbal yes.
  • Run quarterly business reviews with client executives that tie Asymbl's work to the metrics they report on: engineering cycle time, cost to serve, and program delivery dates.
  • Turn the expansion signals our delivery team surfaces into qualified opportunities and closed revenue.
  • Coordinate the partners around the account, including Salesforce account teams and other alliance partners, so we show up as one team.
  • Keep Salesforce records current, including the account plan, opportunities, contacts, activity, and next steps.
  • Work with AI digital workers as teammates for account research, meeting prep, and pipeline management.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of enterprise B2B sales or account management experience, including at least 3 years owning a single strategic account or a small set of Fortune 500 accounts with a growth number attached.
  • Telecommunications industry experience is required, either selling into a carrier or network provider (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Frontier, Zayo, Windstream, or similar) or working inside one. You can discuss network services, OSS/BSS, quote-to-cash, field operations, and the economics of legacy system retirement without a briefing.
  • Account management or account leadership experience at, or directly competing against, a global systems integrator such as Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, or Deloitte. You know how GSIs land and expand inside a large carrier, and how a smaller firm beats them.
  • A services background in consulting, implementation, or program delivery. You can read a statement of work, judge project health, and talk scope credibly with a VP of Engineering or a CIO's staff.
  • A track record of growing an existing enterprise account well beyond its starting size, with numbers you can walk us through.
  • Experience closing services deals through enterprise procurement, including master agreements, security and vendor risk reviews, and multi-stakeholder approvals.
  • Experience working in or with the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred. Familiarity with AI, software engineering services, or managed services contracts is a strong plus.
  • Executive presence. You are comfortable in a room with VPs and SVPs, including when a GSI partner is sitting across the table.
  • A relationship builder who plays the long game: comfortable investing in an account for quarters before it pays, while still closing this quarter's business.
  • Bias for action, accountability, and responsibility to move quickly and help drive the business forward.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey value propositions clearly and confidently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in CRM software.
  • Based in Austin, TX, and able to travel regularly to client sites.
