We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager – Network Lifecycle Management to join our team onsite in Rahway, New Jersey. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end hardware and software lifecycle management projects across assigned sites, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered within scope, timeline, quality, and budget expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Network Lifecycle Management (LCM) projects for assigned sites across hardware and software products, including project planning, scope definition, timelines, dependencies, and execution.
- Develop realistic project plans and coordinate the sequence of work, including activities that may fall outside the direct LCM scope.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and ensure effective communication through meetings, status reports, dashboards, and regular project updates.
- Review the overall Network Lifecycle Management (LCM) program and prepare site-specific information and data required for project verification and execution.
- Organize and facilitate project kick-off meetings with site stakeholders to review Hardware Lifecycle Management (HLCM) and Software Lifecycle Management (SLCM) requirements and plans.
- Conduct Remote Site Assessments to gather technical, financial, infrastructure, and site-related information required for project planning.
- Manage project budgets and coordinate procurement activities, including hardware, devices, services, and labor requirements.
- Work closely with Finance and Procurement teams to manage Bills of Materials (BoMs), vendor quotes, Purchase Orders (POs), delivery information, and asset-tracking requirements.
- Maintain accurate project information in designated project management, lifecycle management, and tracking systems.
- Identify and coordinate appropriate implementation engineers and technical resources within Product Teams for activities such as BoM development, technical designs, implementation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with network engineers, IT teams, vendors, site contacts, procurement, finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with hardware vendors and site contacts regarding hardware delivery schedules, installation requirements, approvals, and change-window downtime.
- Coordinate hardware transfers between client sites when required, ensuring all transfers follow customer-defined processes and asset-management requirements.
- Work with local site contacts to ensure availability of local hands-and-feet support for network hardware racking, stacking, installation, and related activities.
- When local support is unavailable, coordinate with customer-preferred vendors to obtain quotations and arrange required services in accordance with established customer processes.
- Prepare and distribute weekly project status overviews, highlighting progress, risks, issues, dependencies, upcoming activities, and onboarding of new team members where applicable.
- Support administrative activities associated with lifecycle management, including data cleanup, data validation, analysis preparation, reporting, and process documentation.
- Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, delays, and resource constraints and coordinate appropriate mitigation actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in IT Project Management, Network Project Management, Infrastructure Project Management, or Lifecycle Management.
- Experience managing projects involving network hardware, software, infrastructure, or technology refreshes.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scope, timelines, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with BoMs, quotes, POs, procurement, vendors, and asset tracking.
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills across IT, engineering, finance, procurement, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, sites, stakeholders, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with project management and reporting tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a customer-facing onsite environment.
