About this role

Litigation Attorney

At Arizona Consumer Law Group, our litigation attorneys defend clients who are being sued by debt collectors and creditors. You will own your cases from the initial consultation through resolution, whether that means a negotiated settlement, a dispositive motion, or trial. You will work closely with our legal team to develop strategies that protect our clients' rights, restore peace of mind, and deliver lasting results.

This position requires a steadfast commitment to professional growth, accountability, and handling the fast-paced demands of a rapidly expanding litigation practice.

About Arizona Consumer Law Group

At the heart of our firm is a simple promise: we solve debt problems with compassion, clear communication, and proven competence.

  • Compassion: We treat every client with dignity and respect, recognizing the human side of financial stress. We meet clients where they are, without judgment, and work to restore their peace of mind.
  • Communication: We speak clearly, listen carefully, and keep clients informed every step of the way. We eliminate confusion, reduce anxiety, and ensure our clients always know where things stand.
  • Competence: We bring deep legal expertise, strategic thinking, and executional excellence to every matter. We don't guess. We act, decisively and effectively.

This is the standard we hold ourselves to. Every case. Every client.

Every time.

We are a fast-growing consumer protection firm, and we are seeking a litigator who not only has strong courtroom skills but also the ability to help us manage the demands and opportunities of rapid growth.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a caseload of debt collection defense matters in Arizona Justice and Superior Courts
  • Draft answers, motions, discovery, and other pleadings
  • Appear at hearings, pretrial conferences, and trials
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and creditors
  • Advise clients on their options and keep them informed throughout the case

Who We're Looking For

  • Compassionate and empathetic in client interactions
  • Dedicated to serving others and solving problems with integrity
  • Clear and confident communicator with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Organized, decisive, and able to manage a high-volume caseload
  • Reliable, accountable, and results-driven

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience (consumer defense, debt defense, or related areas preferred)
  • Prior experience in debt collection defense strongly preferred
  • Courtroom experience, including hearings and trials
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, though not required

The anticipated pay range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 per year. The offered pay will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of litigation experience, years of experience in the industry, and education.
