Occupational Therapist FFS

Responsibilities

Responsible for evaluating the patient's level of physical functioning and providing training and/or assistive devices to eliminate or reduce areas of deficit.

• Develops a plan of care with patient and caregiver involvement and in collaboration with the nurse, identifying short and long-term goals.
• Evaluates, instructs and monitors specific functional exercise programs to increase strength, range of motion, and coordination of upper extremities.
• Teaches use of adaptive equipment to the patient, caregiver, and other appropriate health team personnel to assist the patient to achieve maximum independence.
• Maintains communication with the physician and other personnel involved in the patient's care, through written reports, attendance at meetings, and confirmed telephone calls.

Qualifications:

• Current NYS license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Master's Degree from Accredited Institute for Occupational Therapy

Compensation:

• Fee for service $75 per visit, $105 per eval and $112.50 per Recert

Compensation: $300-$450 per day; Typically 4-6 Visits per day ($75 per visit, $105 per Eval and $112.50 per Recert)
