About this role

Employer-provided description, formatted for easier reading.

Treat One Patient at a Time. Build Better Clinical Skills. Practice Physical Therapy the Way You Were Trained To.

You became a Physical Therapist to evaluate movement, solve clinical problems, build individualized plans of care, and help people return to the activities that matter to them.

At Amplify Physical Therapy and Wellness, you will have the time to do that work well.

You will treat patients one-on-one for 60-minute appointments in an outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation setting where your clinical judgment is trusted.

No rushed treatment blocks. No cookie-cutter plans of care.

You will have the time to evaluate thoroughly, progress treatment intentionally, build meaningful patient relationships, and see the impact of your Physical Therapy from evaluation through return to activity.

Whether you are a new graduate building your orthopedic foundation or an experienced Physical Therapist looking for greater autonomy, you will have mentorship, professional development, and room to continue growing.

Physical Therapy With Time to Think, Treat, and Progress

Your schedule is designed to give you meaningful time with each patient.

You will be trusted to use your education, clinical reasoning, and professional judgment to determine what each patient needs.

Treat an Active Orthopedic and Sports Caseload

You will work with patients who want to move better, feel stronger, recover from injury, and return to the things they enjoy.

Your caseload may include:

  • Sports and recreational injuries
  • Post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation
  • Shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, and spine conditions
  • Musculoskeletal pain
  • Strength and mobility limitations
  • Balance and movement deficits
  • Return-to-sport rehabilitation
  • Return-to-work rehabilitation
  • Active adults returning to fitness and recreation
  • Patients focused on long-term health and injury prevention

This gives you the opportunity to continually strengthen your evaluation skills, clinical reasoning, exercise progression, manual therapy, patient education, and treatment planning.

What You Will Do

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations

  • Design and progress therapeutic exercise programs
  • Use movement-based and performance-focused rehabilitation strategies

  • Educate patients about their condition, recovery, and injury prevention
  • Track objective progress and adjust plans of care when needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Communicate with referring providers and members of the care team
  • Participate in community outreach and relationship-building opportunities

New Graduate Physical Therapists

Your first Physical Therapy position should make you a stronger clinician.

At Amplify, new graduates receive structured mentorship and real clinical support, not simply a full caseload and a promise to ask questions when needed.

You will receive support with:

  • Evaluation and treatment skills
  • Clinical reasoning
  • Plan-of-care development
  • Patient case discussions
  • Manual therapy
  • Exercise prescription and progression
  • Patient education and communication
  • Outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
  • Building confidence as an independent Physical Therapist

New graduates should have outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine exposure through clinical rotations, internships, or related experience.

Experienced Physical Therapists

If you already have a strong clinical foundation, you will have the autonomy to use it.

Experienced Physical Therapists will have access to:

  • Strong clinical independence
  • One-on-one treatment sessions
  • A diverse orthopedic and sports caseload
  • Support developing specialty interests
  • Advanced continuing education opportunities
  • Opportunities to mentor other clinicians
  • Community and professional relationship-building
  • Leadership opportunities as the clinic grows
  • The ability to contribute ideas and help shape the future of the practice

Your experience will be respected, and your growth does not have to stop because you are already an experienced clinician.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Physical Therapist who:

  • Is licensed as a Physical Therapist or eligible for Illinois licensure
  • Enjoys outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, or performance-based rehabilitation
  • Values individualized patient care
  • Uses strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Communicates clearly with patients
  • Enjoys helping patients understand the purpose behind their treatment
  • Wants to continue learning and developing clinically
  • Brings a positive, dependable, and collaborative approach
  • Wants to contribute to a growing, patient-centered practice

Experienced Physical Therapists and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
