Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU position requiring 5+ years of experience and offering a day shift schedule in a Post Anesthesia/Recovery Room unit.

Details

• Work in the Post Anesthesia/Recovery Room (PACU) within a hospital's Operating Room-PACU-SPD department
• Unit supports 9 ORs in the main surgical suite plus 1 OB OR on the OB floor
• Patient population includes urology, orthopedic, gynecological, vascular, general surgery, ENT, and spine cases
• Uses Stryker integrated suites, Mako robot for ortho, and two DaVinci robots for urology, general surgery, and gynecology
• Utilizes Epic EMR
• Day shift schedule, 5x8s, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• May be contacted at home after hours with questions
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• 5+ years of recent RN experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience with OR equipment including capital purchases and usage of all equipment in the OR
• Experience reporting on KPIs and quality initiative projects
• Ability to multi-task quickly and adapt to continuous changes in the daily schedule

• Local candidates accepted within a 50 mile radius at a reduced bill rate
