Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

### **Description**

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a Magnet\-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital.

### **Details**

• Outpatient setting treating neuro/ortho and medically complex patients
• Day shift schedule, either 4x10 or 5x8 hours
• No weekends typically required, though some Saturdays may be needed
• No on\-call requirements
• Charting is done in Epic

### **Requirements**

• Minimum 1 year of recent PT experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• AK PT License required; license required if applicable
• Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience treating orthopedic and neurologic conditions including post\-op surgeries, spinal conditions, stroke, and traumatic brain injury preferred

### **Additional Information**

• Primary duties include patient assessment, home exercise programs, and patient/family education
• Scrubs are provided
• Parking is free
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities as needed
• First\-time travelers are accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3\-month waiting period, provided they live outside the 50\-mile radius
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer; post\-offer time off requests may not be accommodated
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
