Graphic Designer for Wedding Brands

Amari Productions is a large photo & video studio specializing in weddings across the US. We’re looking for a mid-level graphic designer with an eye for beauty & strong Canva design skills who takes direction & runs with it!

This is a mid-level designer role with some marketing coordination and execution -- there will be director-level strategy guidance & review on all projects but you will need to take initiative & manage time wisely.

Some AI use is ok for inspiration, but you will need to design elements from scratch for this role.

Responsibilities

• Creating thoughtful designs in Canva, like logos, newsletters, ads & applying them to email marketing, social media, etc.
• Building out MailChimp campaigns, from layout & triggers to writing & graphics
• Redesigning materials for online listings & social
• Website updates in Showit
• Designing logos, website & social accounts for sister brands
• Project management

Compensation

• 10 hours per week, ongoing
• $30-$44/hr based on experience
• Work remotely
• Set your own hours

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design
• 1 year of experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications or related field
• Degree in graphic design or related field
• Eye for beauty & what's trending in weddings, fashion & interior design
• Extremely strong graphic design skills in Canva
• Understanding of spacing, font pairings, color theory & other graphic design principles
• Excellent communicator
• Figure-It-Out attitude
• Follows directions **meticulously**
• Web design experience - preferred: Showit
