We are seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse (RN) to support infusion services at a medical office in Los Angeles, CA, and in patients’ homes throughout Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire, including Anaheim, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Irvine, Fullerton, Orange, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Long Beach, Torrance, Downey, Whittier, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Pomona, Ontario, Corona, Riverside, and neighboring cities.

The office schedule covers multiple days per week, up to five days, with home visits in the surrounding area as needed. This role is ideal for a versatile nurse who values schedule flexibility, clinical autonomy, and variety in care settings, while delivering meaningful, high touch patient care in a growing infusion program.

All nurses are subject to credentialing review and background screening prior to their first assignment. There is potential for increased hours as patient volume grows across office and home infusion settings.

Role Summary

The Infusion Nurse will provide direct infusion therapy services for patients receiving specialty medications. The nurse will perform assessments, administer therapies, monitor patients during treatment, and ensure accurate documentation while working collaboratively with the broader clinical team.

This role requires strong infusion experience, excellent IV skills, and comfort working in a small, growing program. The nurse will complete 8 to 16 hours of company training prior to their first visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre infusion patient assessments and verify treatment readiness
• Safely prepare and administer intravenous and subcutaneous biologic therapies, such as IVIG, per protocol
• Manage multiple concurrent infusions and patients across the treatment schedule
• Monitor patients throughout treatment, including vital signs, point of care blood glucose testing, and HCG testing as applicable
• Recognize and respond promptly to adverse events and infusion reactions
• Perform weight based dosing calculations as required
• Educate patients on their disease state, treatment plan, and specialty products
• Document all infusion encounters accurately in WeInfuse and other electronic systems
• Maintain close communication with providers, pharmacy, and operations teams
• Ensure appropriate supply utilization and report inventory needs
• Travel to patients’ homes throughout Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire as needed
• Provide compassionate, patient focused care during every encounter

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS or CRNI certification preferred
• 2 to 3 years of infusion nursing experience preferred
• Strong peripheral IV skills required
• Spanish speaking preferred
• Experience with biologic or specialty infusion therapies preferred
• Ability to work independently in a small site environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Basic comfort with electronic documentation systems
• Reliable transportation
• Employment contingent upon a successful TB screening or evidence of screening within the prior 12 months

Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
