About this role

Product Manager ===================

Location: Remote, with preference for candidates in the Greater NYC area

Reports to: VP of Product

Compensation: $90,000 to $115,000 base salary.

About the Role

AllWork is looking for a Product Manager to help build and scale the technology behind our contingent workforce solutions.

This role offers a unique opportunity to learn our platform from the inside out before taking ownership of key product areas. You will begin by becoming deeply embedded in our product release cycle, helping ensure that new functionality is tested, understood, and effectively communicated across Engineering, Sales, Operations, and our customers.

As your platform and business knowledge grows, you will transition into direct roadmap, feature, and delivery ownership across product areas such as Healthcare Solutions, Self Directed Care, AI & Data, and other emerging initiatives.

This role is a strong fit for an early to mid career product professional who enjoys being close to both the technology and the business and wants the opportunity to take on increasing ownership within a growing, technology driven EOR services company powered by a B2B SaaS platform.

What You Will Do

Phase 1: Build Product and Platform Expertise | Approximately First 3 to 6 Months

Your initial focus will be learning the AllWork platform while taking ownership of critical release and product communication workflows.

  • Own acceptance testing for product releases, including developing test plans from release tickets, coordinating cross functional testing, and assessing release readiness.
  • Develop clear internal and customer facing release notes explaining what changed, why it matters, and how users are impacted.
  • Create internal product release videos and demonstrations that help teams understand new functionality and its business value.
  • Communicate roadmap progress and upcoming releases so Sales, Operations, and leadership understand what is coming and when.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to understand product decisions, customer needs, technical considerations, and broader platform strategy.
  • Build deep knowledge of AllWork workflows, customers, product architecture, and the contingent workforce environment.

Phase 2

Own Products and Roadmaps

As your platform expertise grows, you will take direct ownership of defined products, features, and engineering workstreams.

  • Own and evolve product roadmaps for one or more product areas with cross platform impact.
  • Translate customer feedback, business needs, data, and operational insights into product requirements, specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead features through the full product lifecycle, from discovery and prioritization through development, launch, measurement, and iteration.
  • Partner with Engineering on sprint planning, prioritization, technical tradeoffs, and delivery.
  • Represent your product areas in cross functional planning, customer conversations, product demonstrations, and stakeholder updates.
  • Define success metrics and use product and operational data to evaluate feature adoption, effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Balance customer needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and long term product strategy when making roadmap decisions.

What We Are Looking For

Required

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in product management, product operations, technical program management, or a related product focused role.
  • Experience working within a B2B SaaS environment and contributing directly to product releases, features, or roadmap delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear language for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working cross functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, or Customer Success teams.
  • Comfort operating in a fast moving environment where priorities can evolve as the business grows.
  • A hands on mindset and willingness to take ownership of both strategic and tactical work.
  • Comfort working with data using BI tools such as Sigma and/or basic SQL to investigate product questions and inform decisions.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate product discovery, research, analysis, prototyping, or requirements development.
  • Familiarity with modern product development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Linear, Figma, Claude, and Microsoft 365.
  • Comfortable presenting product updates, demonstrations, and release information to internal audiences.

Preferred

  • Experience in workforce management, HR technology, HRIS, HCM, payroll, payments, EOR, staffing, contingent labor, or gig workforce technology.
  • Experience defining or launching AI or LLM powered product functionality.
  • Experience building products or technology supporting healthcare, home health, caregiving, healthcare agencies, or Self Directed Care programs.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first several months, you will develop a strong understanding of the AllWork platform, customers, and product development process while establishing reliable release testing and communication practices.

From there, you will progressively take ownership of product areas, roadmaps, and delivery, ultimately becoming the product lead responsible for moving defined areas of the AllWork platform forward.

Growth Path

This role is intentionally designed around increasing ownership:

Platform & Customer Expertise Release Ownership Product Ownership Roadmap & Delivery Leadership

The pace of that progression will depend on platform knowledge, demonstrated product judgment, and readiness to take on broader ownership.
