Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Occupational Therapist (OT)
to join a growing healthcare team in Washington, Michigan.
In this role, you will work closely with pediatric patients to help them develop essential life skills, improve independence, and achieve their individual therapy goals. You will assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual's abilities and challenges.
The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and enjoys collaborating with families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess patient needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care.
- Educate parents, caregivers, and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to encourage continued progress.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient outcomes.
- Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and evidence-based interventions.
- Create a positive, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan or eligibility for licensure.
- Pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Strong understanding of individualized treatment planning and patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.

Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary: $80,000–$90,000
