About this role

Alliance OB/GYN, an established physician-led obstetrics and gynecology practice in Winter Park, Florida, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our clinical team.

We are excited to expand our women's healthcare services by establishing an in-house pelvic floor rehabilitation program, offering patients coordinated, comprehensive care in a comfortable and familiar setting.

This is a unique opportunity for a therapist who wants more than a traditional clinical position. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about helping develop a new program, collaborating directly with OB/GYN providers, and making a meaningful difference in women's health.

Areas of Clinical Focus

  • Pregnancy and postpartum pelvic floor rehabilitation
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Urinary incontinence, urgency, and frequency
  • Chronic pelvic pain and pelvic floor myalgia
  • Dyspareunia, vaginismus, and hypertonic pelvic floor dysfunction
  • Bowel dysfunction and defecatory difficulties
  • Postoperative rehabilitation following gynecologic and pelvic surgery
  • Diastasis recti and abdominal wall rehabilitation
  • Pelvic floor dysfunction during perimenopause and menopause

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pelvic floor physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based pelvic floor rehabilitation, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, and patient education.
  • Perform internal and external pelvic floor assessments and treatment when appropriate, with patient consent.
  • Work collaboratively with our OB/GYN physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care.
  • Assist in establishing clinical protocols, patient education resources, and efficient workflows for our new pelvic health program.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in the ongoing development and growth of pelvic floor physical therapy services within our practice.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Florida Physical Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure before starting employment.
  • Experience or specialized training in pelvic floor physical therapy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
  • A compassionate, professional, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team.

Preferred:

  • Advanced training in pelvic floor rehabilitation through Herman & Wallace, APTA Pelvic Health, or equivalent.
  • Experience treating postpartum patients and women with pelvic pain, incontinence, or prolapse.
  • Demonstrated competency in internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment.
  • Interest in clinical program development.

Why Join Alliance OB/GYN?

  • A unique opportunity to build a program: Help shape and grow a new pelvic floor rehabilitation service within an established women's healthcare practice.
  • Integrated patient care: Collaborate directly with OB/GYN physicians to provide comprehensive and coordinated treatment.
  • Established patient population: Join a practice with an existing population of women who may benefit from pelvic floor rehabilitation.
  • Clinical autonomy: Bring your expertise and ideas to the development of our pelvic health services.
  • Flexible employment opportunities: Full-time or part-time scheduling may be considered based on experience and program needs.
  • Long-term growth potential: Become an integral part of an expanding women's health team.
