• Position : Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU)
• Location: Bangor ME 04402
• Shift: Days 06:00 AM-18:30 PM
• Duration: 13 Weeks Contract (Possible Extension).
• Specialties: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU)
• Pay: $70-$80/HR on W2

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience within specialty- Required.
• AHA- BLS- Required
• RN License in ME or Compact License

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical or medical procedures, assessing vital signs, oxygen saturation, and overall condition.
• Assess and manage post-operative pain, nausea, vomiting, and other anesthesia-related complications.
• Monitor airway patency, respiratory status, cardiac function, and neurological status during recovery.
• Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and other treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Identify and respond promptly to post-anesthesia complications, including respiratory distress, bleeding, and hemodynamic instability.

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
