Atrium Health Endoscopy Center Ballantyne is a fast-paced outpatient endoscopy center with four procedure rooms dedicated to providing high-quality gastrointestinal care. Our team performs a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy procedures.

Registered Nurses play a critical role in patient care throughout the procedural experience, including pre-procedure assessment, procedural support, recovery, patient education, and coordination of care. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and teamwork.

Atrium Health MSKI Orthopedics and Sports Medicine offers non-surgical and surgical orthopedics, and interventional spine care to patients in Charlotte. This position will mainly support interventional spine. Our interventional spine specialists perform fluoroscopic-guided procedures including epidural injections, nerve ablations, facet joint injections, and more.

Our RN team supports our specialists in safely performing these procedures.

We’re Looking For

We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic endoscopy team. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to service excellence, clinical excellence, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment.

Successful candidates are skilled in patient assessments, procedural care, recovery nursing, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality care and an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited or approved nursing program
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous endoscopy, procedural, ambulatory, critical care, PACU, or GI nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient education skills

What You’ll Do:

PRN RN position supporting endoscopy procedures and patient care in a busy ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, sedation monitoring, procedure assistance, recovery care, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
