**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated, playful, and experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist or COTA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapeutic services to children with disabilities. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for patients through tailored treatment plans and interventions.
Our practice designs therapeutic interventions including: reflex integration, sensory integration, self\-regulation, sensory\-based feeding therapy, motor skill development, visual motor perceptual skills, basic ADLs. Mentorship is available; pediatric experience is preferred.
The position can be either part\-time or per\-diem (per session) depending on the employee's preferences. Salary range reflects those options and is dependent on experience (COTA salary range $34\-40\). We have immediate clinical needs for up to 15 hours/week however this position may be filled by multiple clinicians depending on their availability, so flexibility is possible if less than 15 hours are requested.
Afternoon/evening hours are required, ideally 2\-6 pm with some flexibility to end at 5:30\. Flexibility for assuming caseload in our Farmington clinic may be necessary. Opportunity to grow position based on performance and the clinic's needs.
**Duties**
- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific conditions and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and strategies for improvement.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare professionals.
- Engage in case management activities, coordinating care across various settings including inpatient, home health, and outpatient environments.
- Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy, particularly in working with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with disabilities.
**Experience**
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required.
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Experience in pediatrics, outpatient settings, or early intervention/schools is preferred.
- Familiarity with case management principles and medical terminology is advantageous.
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Pay: $40\. 00 \- $57\. 00 per hour
