Job Overview

Accessible Home Health Care is recruiting qualified healthcare professionals and healthcare support personnel for our Emergency Management Staffing Waitlist serving hospitals, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and other medical facilities throughout Hawaii.

We are building a pool of qualified candidates who may be contacted when emergency staffing needs, facility staffing shortages, or supplemental healthcare assignments arise.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT

All applicants must provide official documentation demonstrating that they are legally eligible and appropriately qualified to perform their proposed position in Hawaii. Licensed professionals must provide proof of a current Hawaii license or another authorization legally accepted for their specific role.

Support personnel must document that they meet applicable qualifications and are eligible to perform their assigned duties in Hawaii.

Available Positions and Hourly Rates

• Medical Doctor (MD/DO): $160.00 per hour
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN): $125.00 per hour
• Registered Nurse (RN/RPN): $100.00 per hour
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $70.00 per hour
• Psychiatric Technician (Psych Tech): $40.00 per hour
• Paramedical Assistant (PMA): $40.00 per hour

Rates are stated in U.S. dollars and are subject to applicable contracts, assignment requirements, and facility approval.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary by position and facility and may include:

• Providing patient care and healthcare support within the scope of the assigned role.
• Supporting hospital and inpatient psychiatric facility operations.
• Following clinical protocols, facility policies, and patient safety standards.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and protecting patient confidentiality.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Supporting supplemental staffing and emergency response operations.
• Demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and flexibility.
• Reporting for assignments according to approved deployment schedules.

Position-Specific QualificationsMedical Doctor (MD/DO)

• Current Hawaii medical license or other legally accepted authorization to practice in Hawaii.
• Medical degree and applicable professional credentials.
• BLS and ACLS certifications, as required.
• Relevant clinical experience and facility credentialing approval.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

• Current Hawaii APRN license and any additional required nursing authorization.
• Applicable advanced practice education and credentials.
• BLS and ACLS certifications, as required.
• Relevant clinical experience.

Registered Nurse (RN/RPN)

• Current Hawaii nursing license or other legally accepted authorization to practice in Hawaii.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• At least one year of inpatient psychiatric hospital experience for assignments requiring this specialty.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, as required.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Current Hawaii LPN license or other legally accepted authorization to practice in Hawaii.
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• At least six months of inpatient psychiatric experience for assignments requiring this specialty.
• Current BLS and any additional certifications required by the facility.

Psychiatric Technician (Psych Tech)

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least six months of inpatient psychiatric experience.
• Nursing assistant certification preferred.
• Documentation of applicable qualifications and any authorization required for the assigned duties in Hawaii.

Paramedical Assistant (PMA)

• Relevant healthcare support education, training, or experience as required by the assignment.
• Documentation of any required certification, registration, or authorization for the assigned duties in Hawaii.
• Ability to follow facility procedures and perform duties within the scope of training and authorization.

Mandatory Documents for All Applicants

All applicants must submit the documentation applicable to their position:

• Proof of current Hawaii licensure, certification, registration, or other legally accepted authorization for the proposed role.
• Current résumé.

• Education and training credentials.
• BLS and ACLS certifications, when applicable.

• Professional liability insurance, when required.
• Background screening and drug screening, as applicable.

Applicants will not be cleared for deployment until all applicable documents have been received, reviewed, and verified. A Florida license or other out-of-state credential alone does not establish authorization to practice in Hawaii.
