JOB PURPOSE

Product Classroom is a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) and School Management Platform developed by Platoform to digitize teaching, learning, and school administration. It is designed for schools, teachers, students, parents, and administrators, with a strong focus on K-12 education, particularly in African markets such as Ghana.

The Product Manager – Platform Classroom will own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for Product Classroom. This role is responsible for defining the product roadmap, gathering and prioritizing customer feedback, managing the product backlog, and delivering features that enhance user experience, reliability, and business value.

The Product Manager will work closely with Engineering, UX/UI, QA, Customer Success, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure platform Meet remains competitive, scalable, and aligned with customer and market needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical/Operations duties Product Ownership
  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for product Classroom.
  • Define product goals and success metrics aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, technical feasibility, and strategic priorities.
  • Drive the complete product lifecycle from ideation through launch and continuous enhancement.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Gather feedback from enterprise customers, recruiters, HR teams, educators, and business users to identify opportunities for product improvements.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and emerging collaboration technologies.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable product requirements and roadmap priorities.

Roadmap & Delivery

  • Define quarterly and annual product roadmaps with measurable business outcomes.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, Engineering, UX/UI, and QA teams to deliver high-quality product releases.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and product reviews.
  • Balance customer requests, technical debt, innovation, and business priorities when making roadmap decisions.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications.
  • Validate completed features against business requirements before production releases.
  • Monitor product performance, adoption, feature usage, and customer satisfaction using analytics and customer feedback.
  • Continuously optimize the platform through iterative product improvements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap updates, release plans, and feature priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Support teams to address customer pain points and improve user experience.

Product Growth & Innovation

  • Drive feature innovation in areas such as virtual meetings, online interviews, webinars, AI-assisted collaboration, meeting recordings, security, and user engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Support go-to-market planning and customer adoption for new product capabilities.

6. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of Product Management experience in SaaS, enterprise software, collaboration platforms, communication products, or cloud applications.
  • Proven experience managing software products through the complete product lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing business and technical requirements while delivering measurable customer value.
