The Role

We're hiring an autonomous utility player to lead operations initiatives, working closely with the CEO.

You'll take new markets from ambiguity to live operations and own appeals filing at scale. This role is for someone who wants real ownership, is deeply data-oriented, and will run through walls to get the job done.

What You’ll Do

------------------

• Own 0-to-1 Launches: Lead new market launches from ambiguity to execution, building the playbooks and systems to scale.
• Manage Appeals Filing at Scale: Own filing across counties for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, managing a team of 5+ contractors.
• Shape Product from the Front Lines: Turn customer pain, contractor workflows, and county edge cases into clear product requirements.
• Translate Regulations into Action: Research local property tax rules, write customer-facing guides, and surface local nuances to product and engineering.
• Solve the Ambiguous Problems: Take on high-impact problems and drive them to done with urgency and data.

Who You Are

• In Austin or willing to relocate. We work in person 5 days a week.
• 3+ years in consulting, banking, product, operations, or early-stage startups
• Have taken projects from idea to execution on your own
• Are proficient with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) and data tools (Excel or Sheets, SQL)
• Make confident decisions with imperfect information
• Are biased toward action and low-ego

Compensation

$110,000 – $140,000 base, plus equity
