Job Summary Aaratech Inc. is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery, improve system reliability, optimize cloud costs, and ensure secure, scalable, and highly available applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and Elastic Load Balancing.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes or Amazon ECS/EKS.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting processes to improve application availability and performance.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, access controls, encryption, secrets management, and network security.
• Collaborate with software development teams to automate build, test, release, and deployment workflows.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure issues, deployment failures, and production incidents.
• Monitor AWS resource utilization and implement cost optimization, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering.
• Strong practical experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS developer tools.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or Amazon EKS.
• Familiarity with Linux administration, networking fundamentals, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and TCP/IP.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Build & Collaboration Tools

Maven, Jira, Confluence, Git-based workflows. Preferred Skills AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification. Experience implementing automated deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and cloud cost optimization. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, vulnerability scanning, container security, and automated compliance checks. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code testing, policy as code, and configuration management.

Understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and collaborative software development practices. Experience with serverless architecture, microservices, and cloud-native application deployments.
