We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a high-performing engineering team building and evolving large-scale consumer technology products.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, high-quality software applications
• Build new functionality and enhance existing products
• Develop responsive and performant user experiences across modern platforms
• Work closely with product, engineering and architecture teams
• Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation and deployment processes
• Help mentor and support other engineers within the team

Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability and scalability

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer
• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong experience with React and modern frontend development
• Experience with Node.js and developing backend services
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and application architecture
• Experience developing large-scale, customer-facing applications
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD, Git and automated testing
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging and communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience within streaming, OTT, CTV, media or consumer technology
• Experience developing applications for connected TV or other consumer devices
• Knowledge of video playback, streaming protocols or content delivery
• Experience with technologies such as RDK, Lightning.js, Roku, Android TV, Fire TV or tvOS
