  • Utilize CAD software for 3D modeling and mechanical drafting, including SolidWorks, Creo, and other engineering design platforms.
  • Coordinate tolerance analysis, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Review engineering designs against applicable ASME codes, technical specifications, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to evaluate product manufacturability, production processes, and design improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to investigate product performance issues, design defects, and manufacturing challenges.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams on CNC machining, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and related manufacturing technologies where applicable.
  • Monitor product development milestones, project schedules, technical deliverables, and implementation progress.
  • Communicate product updates, technical requirements, and project recommendations to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and engineering processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, product development, or manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, machine design, manufacturing processes, and product development.
  • Working proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks, Creo, or comparable 3D modeling platforms.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, FEA, and applicable ASME standards.
  • Experience with project scheduling, technical documentation, and engineering design reviews.
  • Familiarity with CNC manufacturing, PLC systems, and production processes is preferred.
