AI Revenue Engine

Lead

About the Role

We’re hiring a senior operator to find and fix the highest-impact problems in Better Health’s revenue engine.

Your mandate is simple: find where the funnel is broken and make it better.

You’ll work across the entire revenue journey, from lead generation through enrollment, documentation, shipment, and recurring revenue. You’ll use data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities, get to the root cause, and then own the solution end-to-end.

This is a hands-on role. You won’t just diagnose problems or make recommendations. You’ll redesign processes, leverage AI and automation, improve systems, and lead cross-functional projects through implementation and measurable results.

You’ll report to the SVP of Strategy and Operations and work directly with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, RCM, Finance, Product, and Engineering on some of the company’s highest-priority growth problems.

What You’ll Do

Find and Fix Revenue Problems

  • Continuously audit the revenue funnel to identify conversion gaps, bottlenecks, broken handoffs, manual work, and opportunities for growth.
  • Use data to get to the root cause of performance problems and prioritize opportunities based on business impact.
  • Own high-priority initiatives end-to-end, from defining the problem and developing the solution through implementation and measuring results.
  • Redesign processes and workflows rather than accepting “this is how we’ve always done it.”
  • Use AI and automation aggressively where they can improve conversion, prioritization, speed, visibility, or team productivity.

Run the Revenue Engine

  • Own the weekly revenue operating cadence, including funnel performance, forecasting, key drivers, risks, and actions.
  • Build the analytics and leading indicators that help us understand where performance is headed and why.
  • Maintain a consistent view of the funnel and ensure teams are working from trusted data and definitions.
  • Own CRM and revenue systems governance, while partnering with other teams on larger systems and technical implementations.

Drive Cross-Functional Execution

  • Turn ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, workplans, owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Bring together the right people across functions and drive projects forward without waiting for perfect information or organizational structure.
  • Pressure-test assumptions, make recommendations, and hold teams accountable for execution.
  • Measure whether changes actually worked and iterate quickly when they didn’t.

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of experience building and operating businesses, ideally across high-growth startups, strategy & operations, revenue operations, consulting, product, or similar roles.
  • A track record of taking ambiguous, high-impact business problems from identification through measurable results.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. You can dive into the data yourself and turn it into action.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to drive execution across teams without direct authority.
  • Fluency with AI and automation and a strong instinct for where technology can fundamentally improve how work gets done.
  • Strong business judgment, low ego, high ownership, and a bias toward action.
  • Comfort getting into the details. This is a builder/operator role, not a strategy-only role.
  • Experience in a fast-growing startup is strongly preferred.
  • Former founders, early-stage operators, or people who have built functions from scratch are especially compelling.
  • Healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Why This Role Is Different

You won’t inherit a narrow function or a fixed playbook. You’ll be expected to find the problems that matter, figure out why they exist, and own fixing them.

The goal is not better reporting. The goal is a better-performing revenue engine.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this role is $130,000–$200,000, depending on experience, skills, and location. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
