Lead plays a key role in AXON Enterprise’s success by ensuring orders are shipped accurately and delivered on time. This position is responsible for overseeing outbound shipping operations, maintaining compliance standards, and supporting efficient warehouse processes. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator.

Reports to: Senior Outbound Supervisor

Direct Reports: N/A

• Use shipping software to track, prioritize, verify, and route orders.
• Oversee the flow of packages from preparation through shipment.
• Verify picked orders to ensure quantities and items are accurate.
• Ensure sensitive materials are stored securely and correctly within the warehouse.
• Maintain secure and proper staging of freight shipments.
• Inspect labels, barcodes, and shipment documentation for accuracy.
• Coordinate outbound shipments with the internal Logistics team.
• Ensure shipping processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Resolve shipping-related issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies, including Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Materials requirements.
• Report shipping activities, metrics, and issues to management.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Conduct biweekly touch-base meetings with the team.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2–3 years of outbound warehouse or distribution center experience supporting manufacturing or customer fulfillment operations
• Previous shipping experience and strong knowledge of logistics and shipping procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organizational, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 51 pounds and safely operate a forklift
• Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and lead teams
