Apple’s Worldwide Developer Relations team (WWDR) provides the services, resources and guidance that empower the world’s most dynamic developer community to push the boundaries of innovation and bring the next big app ideas to Apple platforms for customers worldwide.

WWDR also offers programs to help developers connect with experts, learn about the latest Apple tools and technologies, and adopt best practices to supercharge app development.

We are seeking a creative and dedicated Technology Evangelist for Southeast Asia based in Singapore.

You will work directly with developers to deliver fun and compelling apps and games experiences to our customers. This means working closely with world class engineers and designers to help them understand how to build modern, state-of-the-art apps and games, leveraging advanced technologies like AI/ ML and spatial computing across all Apple platforms.

8+ years in software development, including 5+ years with Swift, Objective-C or another object-oriented programming language, with a proven track record of delivering products through the full software release lifecycle. Proven experience applying best practices for performance optimisation, energy efficiency, security, accessibility, and localisation.

Ability to quickly understand others’ needs, make strategic decisions and lead execution to improve developer experiences and services at scale. Effective and influential communicator to engage partners at all levels - from software engineers and product managers to technical and business decision-makers.

Given that this role will cover several countries in SEA, fluency in English and at least one additional language spoken in SEA is required.

Degree in a STEM discipline (e. g. computer science, information technology, math, or physics), or equivalent practical experience.

Experience building engaging user experiences with UIKit and SwiftUI, and experience with AI/ ML or spatial computing. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, works well across teams internationally. Understand the emerging developer products, services as well as the local regulatory situation that impacts the developer communities.
