In this role you will be a key contributor in architecting and implementing highly available, large-scale deployment solutions which are scalable and reliable. You will partner with product, SRE and other engineering teams to bring those systems to life by building necessary tools.

As a senior engineer, you’ll mentor junior engineers, contribute to design and code reviews, and help shape how Find My Micro Services scales into the future.

This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with remote teams where you'll apply a software engineering skills to build tools to tackle complex distributed systems challenges at global scale —and where your work will directly impact the stability and experience of millions of Find My users every day.

3+ years of strong software development experience and 5+ years of experience in working with cloud architectures Ability to be in office Monday through Thursday Strong software development experience with Java and a proven versatility to pick up other languages (such as Python, Go or Bash) for automation and tooling.

Hands-on experience in managing and working with cloud architectures including their specific networking and native services. Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) architecture, container runtimes, and package management via technologies like Helm. Proficiency with Terraform or similar technolgies, including writing modular, reusable code for multi-environment setups.

Deep understanding of network security, firewalls, encryption (at rest and in transit), IAM roles, and secret management tools (e. g. , HashiCorp Vault, cloud native secret managers).

Hands-on experience with observability and integrating with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Splunk Hands-on experience in building and integrating with micro services.

Skilled at identifying architectural gaps and driving solutions across partner teams Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments like AWS, Google Cloud and Azure Experience leveraging LLMs or AI tooling for operational automation and workflow optimization Strong ability to communicate complex infrastructure concepts to both technical and business stakeholders Proven track record of leading and managing enterprise level projects or multi-functional engineering initiatives
