About this role

Employer-provided description, formatted for easier reading.

We are looking for engineers who are passionate about technology and its implementation in large-scale environments. If you thrive on solving complex, real-world problems, and on building something from the ground up, we’d love to talk to you.

Device Management keeps Apple's devices secure and productive, and asset management ensures each one is accurately tracked through its lifecycle. Our goal is to make deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management seamless and automated, so devices are ready for the work they support with minimal manual effort.

Our team is expanding device management services to support our manufacturing environments, at significant scale. It spans two connected areas: device management, covering configuration, policy, and deployment across the fleet; and asset management, covering each device through its lifecycle from procurement to retirement.

The workflows that connect the two are what define the device experience, and you'll work across both, with support to build depth on the asset management side as you go.

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years in platform engineering, systems engineering, DevOps, or enterprise device management. Hands-on experience with enterprise MDM, Jamf Pro preferred: configuration profiles, policies, scoping, patch and deployment workflows.

Including a solid working knowledge of Apple platforms (macOS, iOS, iPadOS) and client-management fundamentals. Systems integration capability: a track record of connecting enterprise platforms and tools into automated workflows, with comfort working against REST APIs. Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.

Jamf certification (200 or higher) or comparable depth in Jamf Pro administration or experience. Oomnitza certification (Certified Specialist or Engineer) or comparable ITAM administration experience: device lifecycle from procurement to retirement, compliance, and reporting. Cloud infrastructure (e.

g. AWS, GCP or AliCloud), containerization (e. g.

Docker, Kubernetes), or CI/CD pipelines. Additional languages such as Go, Swift, or Java. Familiarity with enterprise security principles, identity services, and compliance standards.
