Infrastructure Services is part of IS&T and the foundation of Apple's global network operations — managing data center equipment and systems to deliver compute, storage, and networking services for teams across Apple, including its internal developer community. From individual facilities to a worldwide network, Infrastructure Services ensures the technology underneath everything works without question.
The Data Center logistics team is responsible for supporting Apples Enterprise of Apple owned and operated Data Centers and Co-Locations globally through shipping, receiving, inventory and reverse logistics.
We are searching for a highly motivated and passionate Inventory Control Specialist to join our team.
As the Inventory Control Specialist you will ensure accountability and security of inventory through transaction documentation, process, procedure verification, and system review.
Prior inventory management and or supply chain experience Experience with ERP systems like SAP or similar and manual inventory processes Valid Driver’s License
Experience working with multifunctional teams and providing peer leadership Highly motivated self-starter that is able to work independently, meet assigned deadlines and handle various tasks at one time in an ambiguous and dynamic environment Experience in process improvement and standardization Ability to communicate and implement in a fast paced environment Computer skills with basic understanding of Microsoft Suite or Apple equivalent Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
