You will collaborate with extraordinary engineering teams to drive complex equipment from conception to production.
The Hardware Systems Engineer will be in charge of developing customized test systems to test the electrical performance of Apple products. The ideal candidate is an EE with good scripting skills, and most of all, enjoys shipping a working system instead of crafting on paper. Design and integrate test systems.
Design, solve, and debug electrical functional test equipment such as low noise audio signal digitizer, detailed current meter, high speed switcher, efficient and fast power supply, etc. Prototype hardware test systems for consumer electronics. Propose, review, and implement validation plans.
Circuit analysis and simulation. Provide mentorship on PCB layout. Data analysis.
Build and maintain functional test plans and troubleshoot test plan implementation. Manage suppliers/manufacturing partners/test development schedule.
Have design experience in some of these areas: audio circuit, linear and/or switching power supply, high-speed signal integrity, USB3/DisplayPort/HDMI/MIPI, high precision ADC, ARM-based MCU system programming. Have hands-on experience in bench equipment such as oscilloscope, power supply, DMM, and electronic load. Be able to handle multi-task operations.
Communicates fluently and optimally in English and Chinese
Experience in embedded system hardware/software design. Experience in FPGA development and RTL programming. Familiar with statistical data analysis, experienced in tools like Tableau, JMP, and/or Matlab.
Practical knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address sophisticated technical issues. Familiar with consumer electronics product development timelines and requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.
