The Apple Home team is looking for hard-working, passionate interns to help develop skills for high-tech products around hardware system design, validation and testing.
Our products are brand new in every way: user experience, feature definition, hardware and software integration, connectivity, sensing, power consumption, fabrication, reliability, manufacturing scale, and design.
With tremendous amount of learning opportunities, you will learn to be a system integration engineer and build “something significant” for Apple Home products. You will collaborate with team members in China as well as California-based design teams in the process.
The position is based in Shanghai with office and lab. You may get opportunity to travel to factory to learn how an Apple product gets built.
You will develop understanding for a sub-system of Apple-designed product through architecture block diagrams, schematics, data-sheets, as well as interactions with expert team members
You will learn & be responsible for circuit or sub-system design, including architecture, early feasibility analysis, component selection, schematic capture, PCB placement, layout, bring-up, and validation
Solid electrical engineering fundamentals.
Capable of English communication.
Hands-on experiences in system / circuit design & debug.
Hands-on experience on basic lab equipment such as oscilloscope, DMM, power supply, etc.
Fast learning capability toward new technology.
Passion & curiosity toward consumer product development.
Prior related internship experience.
Programming / scripting skills.
