APN offerings include partners enablement, building SaaS on AWS, co-selling by lead/opportunity sharing, marketing assistance, funding reimbursement, training and certifications et al.
The AWS
Partner Systems team is responsible for building an external facing next generation platform for AWS partners and AWS internal sales and marketing users.

AWS Partner Systems is looking for a results-oriented, self-driven Software Development Manager who can help us create the next generation of distributed, scalable systems that support AWS' current and future business needs. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, relishes working with data at scale, enjoys the challenge of highly complex business contexts.
This candidate will hire aggressively to build high-functioning team of Software Development Engineers and Salesforce Developers, work with senior leaders to define and drive organizational vision and goals. This candidate will guide the team for designing, building, and managing services that are secured, scalable, highly available, performant, and operationally robust.
With a strong leadership and a culture of challenge, support, and feedback, you will grow your skills and talents so you can scale with the new opportunities that arise as the organization expands. Our ideal candidate will be a hardcore builder with experience of building applications with service oriented architecture on cloud platform using one of the programming languages (Java, Python, C++).
A successful candidate in this role is, who loves building software, is self-directed, knows how to get things done, can lead teams, and is not afraid to take on big challenges.

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- 1+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle experience
- 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++ experience
- 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using service-oriented architecture experience
- 5+ years of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupational experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using distributed programming experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
