Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain the Project E-BOM based on the Generic BOM.
- Collect, verify and validate all BOM Change Requests from BCI teams.
- Ensure BOM compliance, data completeness and structural consistency in PLM.
- Represent the BCI team in weekly BOM Commission meetings with PFDI.
- Prepare and secure Sync 3 (Prototype) and Sync 5 (Serial) releases.
- Create and manage ECOs and release-related data.
- Monitor BOM quality KPIs and drive corrective actions.
- Ensure alignment between Project BOM, Module BOM and Generic BOM.
- Track BOM implementation and data consistency across PLM and BOM ecosystems.
- Deliver weekly BOM status reporting to PMO and Generic BOM Pilot.
Required Profile
Background in automotive engineering, industrial engineering or product lifecycle management .
Proven experience in BOM management, PLM environments and project coordination
Good understanding of:
- vehicle architecture and module structure,
- product configuration and variant management,
- part lifecycle and release processes.
Hard Skills (Technical & Functional)
Strong knowledge of:
- E-BOM structures and logic,
- product configuration and variant management,
- part lifecycle and release management.
Proven experience with PLM systems, especially ENOVIA from Dassault Systèmes.
Ability to manage:
- initial BOM loading,
- BOM structuring,
- BOM evolution and change control.
ECO creation and lifecycle follow-up.
Strong understanding of:
- vehicle program organization,
- module and system decomposition,
- project BOM vs module BOM consistency.
Advanced use of Excel for:
- BOM analysis,
- reporting,
- data consolidation.
Experience using business intelligence tools such as SAP BI 4 from SAP.
Ability to work with:
- BOM Change Request files,
- PTA files,
- PowerTools,
- DocInfo,
- CODEP / EBOM viewers.
Knowledge of release workflows for prototype and serial phases .
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to lead and animate cross-functional meetings autonomously.
Structured and detail-oriented approach.
Strong reporting and synthesis capability.
Ability to work independently within a PMO governance framework.
Good understanding of project planning and delivery constraints.
