About this role

Employer-provided description, formatted for easier reading.

The CSC Business Consultant leads customers through business transformation as they adopt Adobe’s Content Supply Chain solutions . You will help customers improve how content is planned, created, managed, and delivered by defining business requirements, future-state workflows, operating models, and adoption strategies.

This role combines strong business consulting with hands-on solution delivery. You will connect business goals to platform capabilities, configure solutions, and build and validate workflows and integrations across Workfront, AEM Assets, and connected CSC tools.

You will independently deliver standard configurations and moderately complex automations, partnering with Technical Consultants and architects on advanced integrations, custom development, security, and solution architecture.

What You Will Do

Customer Strategy and Process Design

  • Lead discovery workshops to understand current processes, pain points, stakeholder needs, and business priorities across the content lifecycle.
  • Use industry knowledge and CSC experience to recommend future-state workflows, operating models, and implementation priorities.
  • Translate customer goals into business requirements, process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria; partner with technical teams to confirm feasibility and implementation alignment.

Content Strategy and Governance

  • Define organizational taxonomy, metadata standards, asset lifecycle rules, and governance aligned with customer needs and relevant industry practices.
  • Design intake processes, roles and responsibilities, approval paths, and asset management use cases spanning Workfront and AEM Assets.
  • Define how metadata moves between systems, document field mappings and ownership, and validate that configurations support the intended business process.

Change Management and Adoption

  • Assess organizational readiness and support stakeholder alignment, communication planning, and adoption strategies.
  • Create and deliver role-based training, playbooks, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
  • Lead business UAT planning and customer walkthroughs, validate results against acceptance criteria, and support knowledge transfer and post-go-live self-sufficiency.

Practical Solution Delivery

  • Independently configure and test forms, templates, approval workflows, reports, metadata structures, and permissions within agreed solution standards.
  • Build and maintain moderately complex Fusion workflows using branching, field mappings, data transformations, API calls, and error handling; validate connected processes end to end.
  • Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues using execution logs, API responses, and data validation; resolve issues within scope and escalate architectural or code-level problems with clear findings.

Program Execution and Value Realization

  • Manage scope, risks, dependencies, and decisions with Project Managers and Engagement Leads; communicate roadblocks and tradeoffs early.
  • Establish baseline measures and KPIs with customers, track business outcomes, and deliver executive readouts on progress, adoption, and value.
  • Support sales and scoping discussions by clarifying business needs, expected outcomes, delivery assumptions, and implementation considerations.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years in business consulting, business analysis, marketing operations, or related transformation roles.
  • Strong understanding of marketing workflows, content production lifecycles, and enterprise content or asset management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe’s Content Supply Chain ecosystem, including Workfront, AEM Assets, and Fusion, with hands-on implementation experience in at least one core platform.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous needs into structured workflows, requirements, acceptance criteria, and practical platform recommendations.
  • Practical experience with REST APIs, JSON, field mappings, and data transformations; able to inspect requests and responses, work with established authentication methods, and test system-to-system data flows.
  • Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting multi-step automations in Fusion or a comparable integration platform, including conditional logic and error handling; able to deliver independently within defined architecture and security standards.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, documentation, and executive communication skills; experience navigating organizational change and stakeholder alignment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience delivering production Workfront Fusion integrations and supporting monitoring, recovery, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Experience implementing metadata or taxonomy standards across connected platforms, or working with Frame.io and other CSC tools.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to support discovery, documentation, workflow analysis, or delivery efficiency.

Success Looks Like

  • Customers have a clear future-state operating model and adopt workflows tied to measurable business outcomes.
  • Business requirements translate into well-tested configurations and maintainable integrations, with clear documentation and reliable handoffs between systems and teams.
  • Stakeholders understand their roles and next steps, and can sustain the solution after go-live.
  • Risks are surfaced early, commitments are met, and documentation supports ongoing governance and improvement.
