Rezi Review: AI Resume Writing, Keyword Suggestions, and Export Checks
Rezi helps construct and revise a resume inside a builder; generation and keyword checks still require a source-to-export audit.

Rezi is a useful candidate for building and revising a resume when you want writing assistance, keyword feedback and document controls in one editor. Its value depends on supplying accurate experience and checking what each suggested sentence adds. A generated sentence, checked keyword or Rezi Score does not verify experience or guarantee how an employer will read the exported file.
This review uses current public documentation checked October 8, 2026. We did not create an account, generate a resume or submit an application. The examples are fictional teaching cases. LandOffer publishes this review and offers job-search tools. You can browse recent roles on LandOffer.ai and prepare materials with Rezi, another editor or a routine you already trust.
What Rezi helps you create
Rezi's keyword-targeting guide documents several starting routes: upload an existing PDF or DOCX, create a resume, import LinkedIn information or use the AI Resume Agent. Job targeting adds a title, company and full description. The editor can then surface included and missing terms and suggest writing around them.
The useful connection is keeping the job description beside the document you are editing. You can move from source information to a role-specific sentence without manually managing a separate prompt for every change. That is still writing assistance. A phrase placed under a plausible work entry may be unsupported, or may imply more ownership than the original information contains.
The guide allows generated bullet suggestions, rewrites and manual edits. It also describes adding keywords yourself. You can use the missing-term list while editing manually, which lets you preserve an accurate sentence and clarify one supported term. That choice is valuable when your existing sentence is accurate and needs a small terminology clarification rather than a full rewrite.
Do not assume every feature is needed for every role. A clear base resume may require only different ordering or the inclusion of a relevant project. Starting again can introduce extra revisions without adding useful information. Keep your original notes and a copy of the prior document so you can compare factual meaning after editing. For Lena, that source bundle is small: the Python script, an example index, sample-check notes and the volunteer role dates. None contains an uptime promise or a speed measurement. This lets her resolve the exaggerated sentence immediately rather than search for a number after it has entered the resume.
If the job changes, she updates the target description and revisits the selected evidence. She does not reinterpret the archive project as a different kind of work. The useful output is a reviewed role version backed by the same source facts, with unsupported terms still absent.
The free plan is a small document trial
The current pricing page lists one resume and three PDF downloads for Free, with limited advanced-tool access. It lists Pro at $29 per month and Lifetime at a $149 one-time payment. Pro includes unlimited resumes/downloads and a monthly human review; the pricing FAQ says Lifetime does not include that recurring free review.
The subscription help article, dated July 27, 2026, additionally says Pro plans start at a $19 monthly equivalent billed quarterly. That describes a different payment period, not a $19 month-to-month plan. We did not inspect an authenticated checkout or verify every account's available offer. Use the actual displayed amount and period when deciding.
| Need | Documented access | Completed choice for a small task |
|---|---|---|
| Create one reviewed draft | Free allows one resume with limited tools | Start here if you can finish one document within its limits |
| Repeatedly export different role versions | Free allows three PDF downloads | Count final versions and necessary corrections before relying on Free |
| Use other export formats | Download guide limits DOCX/Drive to some templates; plan access also matters | Select the format/template combination before building the whole document |
| Maintain many resumes over time | Pro and Lifetime advertise expanded access | Compare expected recurring use with the actual billing commitment |
Three PDF downloads are not a broad promise of an unlimited free job-search workflow. The Rezi pricing and help pages state three PDF downloads without promising a monthly reset; we did not verify a reset or an account's remaining count. A preview may help you catch errors before downloading, but you should also inspect the exported file you intend to use.
Paying does not remove factual review. If your existing editor produces the documents you need, keeping it can be more sensible than moving all your experience into a new builder. Rezi becomes more attractive when repeated writing and version preparation are the real bottleneck, rather than the lack of another score.
Completed asset: one source fact through three writing decisions
Lena is a fictional volunteer applying for Ember Archive role EA-26. Her source record says she built a Python script that extracted titles from an archive's PDF files and assembled an index for volunteers. She checked a sample against the original documents and noted unreadable scans for manual review. The archive used the resulting index to locate documents during a cataloging session. She did not deploy a commercial service, own an uptime target or measure retrieval speed.
Her rough description is:
Worked on a script to help the archive with documents.
The EA-26 teaching posting asks for Python scripting, careful handling of imperfect data and clear documentation. Those requirements point to facts Lena can support. They do not supply missing performance results.
An exaggerated candidate sentence would be:
Architected a production document platform with a 99.9% SLA, accelerating archival search by 60%.
We authored that sentence to demonstrate a rejection; it is not observed Rezi output. Every major improvement it claims is unsupported. “Architected” changes Lena's responsibility, “production platform” changes the project scale, and both numerical claims need evidence that the source does not contain.
The reviewed version reads:
Built a Python script to extract titles from archive PDFs and create a volunteer search index; checked sample entries against source documents and flagged unreadable scans for manual review.
This version explains what she made, how she checked it and what happened when extraction was insufficient. It does not turn the checking sample into a guarantee that every PDF was parsed correctly. It also retains the volunteer context so the reader understands the setting.
| New wording | Evidence needed | Lena's completed decision |
|---|---|---|
| Python script | Source code and project record | Retain |
| Title extraction and index | Input files and index output | Retain |
| Sample checking | Her comparison notes | Retain the bounded sample claim |
| Production SLA or measured speed gain | Service ownership and measurement record | Reject; neither exists in the source case |
The outcome is a truthful specific bullet. Lena can explain the extraction limitation and manual-review path if asked. The example does not claim Rezi created this wording or that the document produced an interview. It shows the editorial work that must remain yours even when a builder offers a strong-sounding suggestion.

Keyword suggestions need a location and an honest depth
Rezi's guide describes generating a bullet around a missing keyword and placing it under a relevant role. Placement is convenient, but relevance cannot be inferred from placement alone. Check whether the term belongs in that experience, a project, coursework or nowhere in your resume.
In Lena's case, “Python” belongs in the volunteer project. “Production incident response” does not belong anywhere because she has not done it. If the job describes incident response as required, she records a fit gap. A generated phrase cannot close it, and moving it to the skills section would not solve the evidence problem.
Where an experience is partial, describe the actual level. Checking a sample of extracted titles supports data validation in that narrow task. It does not establish responsibility for a full organization's data-quality program. Clear boundaries improve both credibility and your ability to answer follow-up questions.
Keyword feedback can also create repetition. After inserting relevant terms, read the page as a narrative of your work. If several bullets now say almost the same thing, keep the strongest explanation and restore room for another useful fact. A concise document can communicate more than a longer version built around every suggestion.
Rezi Score is a guide to document quality
The score help article describes 23 audits across five categories: Content, Format, Optimization, Best Practices and Application Readiness. It explicitly says these are not ATS scores. That is the appropriate boundary for interpreting the number.
Use the categories to identify a concrete check, such as an incomplete section or a phrase needing revision. Do not treat a high number as proof that an employer uses the same system or that your qualifications satisfy the job. The scale belongs to Rezi's evaluation method.
A document can pass a writing check while making an inaccurate claim. It can also contain relevant, honest experience that differs from the posting's preferred vocabulary. Review the factual source and employer requirement first, then decide whether the report identifies a useful edit. Avoid direct numeric comparisons with another vendor's Match Rate; their inputs and weighting are not the same measurement.
Completed asset: a final-file decision with a download budget
Rezi's download guide documents PDF on all templates and DOCX/Google Drive on some templates. That is more specific than assuming every template exports to every format. Read the employer's instructions before selecting the format you will prepare.
Here is Lena's completed fictional export record. EA-26 accepts PDF, so she chooses a PDF-compatible template. Before her first download, she checks the experience title, dates and project bullet in the preview. The first file then reveals that a long project link wraps awkwardly beneath the entry. She shortens the visible link label without changing its destination and uses a second download for the reviewed file.
Her record now says: EA-26 PDF, reviewed project bullet retained, link opens the correct repository, section order readable, second download used, one documented free PDF download remaining. No employer upload or application has happened. This is a teaching case of a decision and correction, not a file we obtained from Rezi.
If the employer instead required DOCX, Lena would resolve the template and plan's DOCX availability before investing in the final layout. If unavailable under her access, she could keep an existing Word document rather than paying solely to avoid changing tools. A format constraint is an output requirement, not a reason to ignore instructions.
For your actual export, open the file in the software you will use and select or copy its text to inspect order and content. Check links, page breaks and whether any entry was clipped or omitted. After an employer upload, inspect any visible imported fields separately. A successful local export cannot establish how an employer's customized application will parse it.
A bounded verdict and a practical next step
Rezi is most promising when you need a structured builder and recurring assistance turning real experience into clear resume language. Its keyword tools can help connect a document to one description, and its review controls let you keep manual judgment in the process. The free plan provides a limited starting point; recurring versions or downloads may make paid access relevant.
Keep your present editor when the output is already readable and your review process works. Consider paying only after identifying a repeated task the plan would materially support. Preserve factual notes outside the builder and avoid unnecessary sensitive details when supplying context. This review did not audit data processing, generated accuracy or account deletion.
For one next role, browse recent roles on LandOffer.ai. This opens a discovery page, with no resume generation or application commitment. Read the employer's description and choose one existing experience to revise. Compare every new fact against its source, then check the final file. It can be a relief to finish with one clear sentence you can explain from your own work. That is the useful result of this review; a hiring outcome remains unknown.
